Description
Original Superfoods Pecan nuts are oblong-oval to cylindrical nut fruits. The peel is reddish brown in color and covered with dark brown stripes.
The seed is strongly grooved, just like the walnut. It has a sweet to nutty taste. The seeds contain up to 75% fat and approximately 10% protein. They also contain a lot of zinc and vitamin B1. A handful of pecan nuts (25 g) contains about a quarter of the recommended zinc and 18% of vitamin B1. Pecans are a good low-fat source of vitamin E. Pecans are particularly good for you because they contain more antioxidants than any other nut.
