Description
Psyllium husk fibers made into powder for ease of use.
Psyllium is used by people that have difficulty with their bowel movement. The dietary fiber present in the seed-coat - the vlosine-slimepolysaccharide – can bind more than the fifty-fold of its own weight in water, leading to an increase in volume in the intestine. Because of the increasing pressure on the intestinal wall, the peristalsis is stimulated and ultimately the feces is started, where it can also help as a lubricant. Thus, it can ensure that the intestine is regulated, and the residence time of the water absorbed in the intestine is longer, which also explains the effectiveness in diarrhea.
If you feel bloated, or blocked, or even suffer from the opposite, take some psyllium husk powder to relieve your belly. You can also put the powder in capsules and take it that way, or mix with water.
